Occupational Health Technician

Job Title: Occupational Health Technician – Peripatetic Role
Location: Slough - Travel In and Around the Area
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (typically 8:30 am – 5:00 pm)
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 + Benefits

Occupational Health Technician required to join a large supported team of technicians. In this role, you will drive a mobile medical unit to sites and carry out health surveillance services. Applicants are required to reside in or around the Slough area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a range of screenings including audiometry, lung function testing, drug and alcohol testing, and general baseline measurements (height, weight, blood pressure, urinalysis).
• Ensure all biometric data is accurately recorded in the occupational health records and passed on to the relevant clinical staff for decision-making.
• Assist with health promotion activities and undertake additional tasks as requested.
• Provide support to the wider occupational health team by handling non-clinical tasks such as filing and tidying.

Please note: Applicants must have the facility to park the MMU at or near their home address overnight and be comfortable with frequent travel and regular overnight stays.
